I have lived in West Virginia my entire life, and have lived in Tucker County (TCO) for 7 years now. I discovered this area shortly after graduating with a fine art degree from Davis and Elkins College. I was instantly drawn to Thomas, and fell in love with the entire surrounding area. It truly has all the best WV has to offer!

A lot of friends of mine are already in the wedding buisness (photographers, caterers, hair and make-up artists) and I really saw the need for someone in the area to help manage the growing number of weddings. I figured with my love of planning parties, and my artistic skills and eye for design, this was something I could really do and be passionate about. Combine that with the magic and beauty of Canaan Valley, and lo and behold, your best choice for a wedding planner!

Why do you need me?

So you've decided you want to get married in West Virginia! Congratulations, the mountains, the sunsets, the moody fog, the waterfalls, rivers, creeks, wildlife etc etc etc….. All of these things make an amazing backdrop for your magical day. But maybe, you don’t live here or even near here… who are the local vendors? Why pay for vendors to travel hundreds of miles to get here when I know the best ones are located right here! I know all the best local venues, best photographers, best caterers, best bartenders, best bakeries, best hair and makeup artists… I know the area intimately and I can help make this an authentic WV wedding experience, using all local resources.

Magic

Do you believe in magic? I wholeheartedly believe that there is a tangible force that draws people to this community. Whether they live here all year round, or part time, or only come to visit a few times a year, people want to come back. They love it. They feel it. They want to be a part of the magic that is our community.

When people get married they often use the term magical in association with what they want their wedding to be like. What better place to provide this than in the heart of the Appalachian mountains? This ties into what my main design element is as well. When I design your wedding, I want you to feel like you are actually living in a fairy tale.

Fun

I mean, duh! That’s what parties are for! I want you to go to bed on the eve of your wedding freaking stoked to wake up tomorrow to have the best day of your life. I do NOT want you to go to bed worrying and stressing over last minute details or things you may have missed. That’s my job! I know that the planning process will inevitably be a little stressful, but you have hired me to make that as minimal as possible. Not only do I want your big day to be fun, I also want all the planning leading up to it fun as well!
